Also known in Sudan as Karkade, hibiscus flower grown in considered one of the best among the world. Most of the hibiscus farming takes place in Kordofan and Darfur. There are three types of hibiscus available which are dry flower, sifting and powder.

The young leaves are sometimes used as a spinach substitute
In East Africa it is taken to relieve coughs

hibiscus (Hibiscus sabdariffa) is widely used in the Sudan and known locally as Karkade. It’s a frontier natural product grown in the form of a flower and is known to lower blood pressure, improve cholesterol and digestion. Dried hibiscus is traditionally used as a drink either hot or cold.
Hibiscus contains: calories protein, fat, total carbohydrate, fiber, ascorbic acid. The chemicals in hibiscus flower helps in growth of hair, reduces dandruff and makes the hair black.

Packing will be done usually in 25 KG PP bags, and exported in 20 feet containers which will carry 8 metric tons and 40 feet containers which will carry 17 metric tons .
